The Settlement Springbrook
If you want to settle into the World Heritage-listed Springbrook National Park, The Settlement is the only campground in the area. This is ideal for waterfall chasers. The camping area is linked by a short walking track to the top of Purling Brook Falls and just a short drive away you’ll find Natural Bridge which is a waterfall well worth visiting after dark to catch the nightly show put on by its resident glow worms.

Bigriggen Park is set on 100 acres of high hilltops and gentle river flats, surrounded by National Parks and bordered by 55 acres of river-hugging campgrounds. You’ll be in the Scenic Rim’s Mt. Barney National Park with a view of not one but four mountains – Mt Barney, Mt Maroon, Mt May and Mt Lindesay. It’s not just a family-friendly park, but a pet-friendly park too!
Binna Burrs Campground in Lamington National Park is number three in our list of top campgrounds around the Gold Coast. North Stradbroke – Amity Point
Fronting the calm waters of Moreton Bay, this large flat campground is family friendly and offers spectacular sunsets over the bay islands.
